Jackson County Health Department’s water program inspects, samples and interprets lab results of private and non-community water supplies. Staff monitor and inspect construction of new wells closed loop wells, issues well permits. Staff provide education on safety or quality of drinking water, procedures to follow during boil water orders and other emergencies affecting safety of water.
