JCHD offers competitive benefits to all employees who work here. Both part-time and full-time employees accrue vacation and sick days. Full-time employees are eligible for health, dental and vision on the first day of the month following their hire date.

Work Life Balance
Full-time staff at JCHD work a 35 hour work week and accrue 7 hours of vacation days and 7 hours of sick time per month.

The Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund is the states best funded retirement fund. All full-time JCHD employees are automatically enrolled in the plan.
Employer Contributions
By enrolling in our medical insurance, you are automatically enrolled into a life insurance plan of $15,000 and another $15,000 in case of dismemberment or ADD.
