WIC (Women, Infants & Children)

WIC IS A FEDERAL NUTRITION PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES

  • Nutrition education
  • Nutrition counseling
  • Breastfeeding support including classes, peer counseling, and breast pumps
  • Nutritious foods such as whole grain products, fruits, vegetables, milk and beans
  • Referrals to other services including assistance with applying for medical card
  • Refer patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding or have infants or children up to age 5. Families can earn up to 185% of federal poverty level ($863/week for family of 4).
